The Judicial AI Standards Institute develops standards materials for evaluating artificial intelligence tools proposed for court operations, legal-reference workflows, and judicial-support settings.

Purpose

Publish court-specific evaluation standards that courts and vendors can use as a common reference.

Independence

Maintain standards materials without implying endorsement by any court system or public agency.

Scope

Focus on operational suitability, constitutional safeguards, transparency, security, and human control.

The Institute does not speak for the Tennessee judiciary, any state administrative office of the courts, the federal judiciary, NIST, NCSC, or the ABA. Its public materials are standards publications, not legal advice.
